ABOUT US
In the 70’s houses were built to serve as the structure of São Miguel Farm. In 2008 they joined the Dra. Herida Brum Farm. In the following years, these houses where renovated and transformed into residences, to meet the proposal to become a Hostel, thus emerging the Aldeia Santuário das Aves - ASA.
We are located in a peninsula, between the Lagoa dos Patos and the South Atlantic Ocean(Google Maps), with a rural area of 1,136 Acres, lots of native forest, coastal plain and dunes beyond the reach of sight. The locality is excellent for observing and photographing nature. There you are a few steps from the Parque Nacional da Lagoa do Peixe, a hot point, a true paradise for native and migratory birds of the Northern (in the summer) and Southern Hemispheres (in the winter), where you can spot many species, such as flamingoes, biguás, seagulls, sandpipers, black neck swan, among others.
Nearby to the Park you can see shipwrecks traces and lighthouses such as the Mostardas, Capão da Marca and Cristovão Pereira.

STRUCTURE
Our lodging structure has three chalets, with a total capacity of 18 people, all equipped with pantry and basic kitchen; multipurpose hall with games room (pool, table tennis and foosball), barbecue grill, parrilla, large kitchen and utensils; small library, with diverse literature, including a Bibliographic Review and Illustrated Description of bird recorded in the Park (click here to download the pdf version).
We also have an Event Hall, with ample free space of 70 m², for use upon request.
